These are radio graphs that can be used to check if and when an insult has happened to the fetus during delivery that caused Cerebral Palsy (CP).
1. Ultra sound – Sonagrapic waves after birth if a child has seizures- best if done after birth.
2. Cat scans- can time injury during first week checks edema which is swelling of the brain.
3. MRI – Magnetic waves focuses on different parts of the brain to tell when it could have occurred and caused Cerebral palsy (CP).

When there is a lack of blood or oxygen flow the body call up blood cells called Nucleated blood cells to compensate. Therefore by checking for the presence of these Nucleated red Blood cells one can conclude if there has been a problem during birth that may cause cerebral palsy.
